Tine Ghealáin Soy Candle

$20.82 SGD

Tine ghealáin is the Irish name for the will-o'-the-wisp: the pale, drifting light seen over bogs and marshes at night.

In Irish folklore it was a light you never followed. Some said it was a lost soul, others that it was a trick of the fairy folk, leading travellers off the path and into the bog. It's most at home in the dark months around Samhain, when the nights draw in and the Otherworld feels close.

The label shows a ghostly green flame rising over a moonlit bogland pool, framed in Celtic knotwork with TINE GHEALÁIN lettered beneath. Light it on a dark evening and bring a little of that bog light indoors.

Candle safety: never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and anything flammable, and burn on a heat-resistant surface.
